USN

The University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) Department of Optometry, Radiography and Lighting Design offers a Bachelor education in radiography and provides continual educational programmes for radiographers in interventional radiography, and the study option “Radiation in Diagnostics and Therapy” in USN Master Program on Clinical Health Care. The USN research strategy for radiographers is developed as part of USN Science Center Health and Technology, and involves topics as radiological imaging, technology assessment, radiation dosimetry, risk perception and communication.

USN will collect data for dose reconstruction for the Norwegian children involved in image-guided treatment due to cardiac conditions and will participate in the development of dose reconstruction approaches in paediatric cardiac catheterization (WP4).
